We provide the initial training program for no additional fee. You must pay your employees' wages, benefits, and travel, hotel, and food expenses while they attend training. Our training program may include a "train the trainer" module so your senior-level personnel can learn how to train your other employees to follow Brand Standards.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to 7 Brew's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial training program is provided at no additional fee. However, franchisees are responsible for covering the wages, benefits, travel, hotel, and food expenses for their employees while they attend the training. This means that while 7 Brew does not charge a separate training fee, the franchisee will incur costs related to sending their personnel to the training program. The initial training program includes a 2-day training for the ownership group, a 14-day program for store management, and a 3-day program for hourly employees. Store managers must complete the initial training and pass the required tests before the store opens.
7 Brew also offers ongoing and supplemental training, for which fees may apply. If a franchisee requests local training courses or programs, they will be responsible for paying 7 Brew's then-current training fee, which can be up to $1,500 per trainer per day, plus travel and living expenses for the trainers. Additionally, if retraining is necessary because a store isn't operating according to brand standards, the franchisee must cover all employee compensation and expenses during the retraining sessions.
Prospective franchisees should carefully consider these costs when budgeting for their 7 Brew franchise. While the initial training itself is provided without a fee, the associated expenses for employees can add up. It is also important to factor in the potential costs of ongoing or supplemental training, as well as any retraining that may be required to maintain brand standards. Understanding these financial obligations is crucial for the successful operation of a 7 Brew franchise.
