Once communicated, these Brand Standards become legally binding obligations. While 7 Brew retains the right to establish and modify these standards, the franchisee maintains complete responsibility and authority for implementing and maintaining them at their store.
7 Brew may offer general guidance and recommendations regarding store operations, which could include advice on handling customer complaints. Additionally, 7 Brew may develop and provide training tools and recommendations for franchisees to use in training their employees to comply with Brand Standards, which could encompass customer service and complaint resolution. These training materials may be updated periodically to reflect changes in training methods, procedures, and Brand Standards.
The franchisee is responsible for managing their store and implementing Brand Standards, including those related to customer complaints. Failure to comply with Brand Standards constitutes a violation of the franchise agreement and may result in administrative and management costs for 7 Brew to address the violation, in addition to any damages caused to the franchise system or goodwill associated with the brand. Franchisees must also ensure their advertising and promotion are factual and adhere to high standards of honesty, integrity, fair dealing, and ethical conduct in all interactions with customers.
