What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 FDD, if you transfer your 7 Brew franchise, you and your transferring owners must agree not to take certain actions regarding the 7 Brew Marks. Specifically, you cannot identify yourselves in any business as a current or former 7 Brew Store or franchisee, except when dealing with other 7 Brew stores that you still own or operate.
Additionally, you are prohibited from using any Mark, any imitation of a Mark, or any trademark, service mark, or commercial symbol that is confusingly similar to any 7 Brew Mark. You also cannot use any copyrighted items or other indicia of a 7 Brew Store for any purpose.
Finally, you are not allowed to utilize any of these elements for any purpose after the transfer, except in connection with other 7 Brew Stores you or they own or operate. These restrictions are designed to protect the 7 Brew brand and prevent confusion among customers after a franchise changes ownership.
