7_Brew Franchise · 2025 FDD

Answer from 2025 FDD Document

    1. Issue and modify Brand Standards. Changes in Brand Standards may require you to invest additional capital in the Store and/or incur higher operating costs. You must comply with those obligations within the timeframe we specify. Item 8 describes certain related cost-caps. Through our Brand Standards, we have the right to regulate and establish (to the extent the law allows) price advertising policies and maximum, minimum, or other pricing requirements for products and services the Store sells, including requirements for promotions, special offers, and discounts in which some or all 7 BREW Stores must participate. What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to 7 Brew's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, 7 Brew retains the right to modify its Brand Standards. Specifically, Item 11 outlines that 7 Brew will issue and modify Brand Standards, and changes to these standards may require franchisees to invest additional capital in their stores or incur higher operating costs. Franchisees are obligated to comply with these changes within the timeframe specified by 7 Brew.

This provision grants 7 Brew significant control over the brand's image and operational procedures. While this ensures consistency across all franchise locations, it also means that franchisees must be prepared to adapt to changes that may require additional financial investment. The FDD mentions that Item 8 describes certain related cost-caps, which may provide some limitation on these costs.

Prospective franchisees should carefully consider the potential financial implications of these modifications and factor them into their business planning. It is important to understand the scope and frequency of potential changes to Brand Standards and how these changes might affect profitability. Franchisees should also inquire about the typical range of costs associated with past Brand Standard modifications to better assess future financial risks.
