Adhering to the Brand Standards includes following guidelines for beverages and food products, ingredients and recipes, food-handling and preparation procedures, and authorized services. Franchisees must also adhere to storage and packaging procedures, maintain adequate inventory levels, and implement sales, marketing, advertising, and promotional programs as specified by 7 Brew. This also includes maintaining adequate staffing levels, ensuring the appearance of store personnel meets standards, and providing courteous service to customers.
Furthermore, franchisees must follow standards and procedures for responding to customer complaints, adhere to price advertising policies, and participate in customer loyalty programs. Compliance with these standards is not optional; the FDD emphasizes that deviation from any contractual requirement, including any Brand Standard, is a violation of the agreement and can result in costs to address the violation.
