What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to 7 Brew's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee must pay a $5,000 relocation fee if they relocate their store. However, relocation is not guaranteed, as 7 Brew must first provide written consent, which they may grant or deny at their discretion.
7 Brew may also place other conditions on relocation approval. These conditions include the new site being acceptable to 7 Brew, the franchisee reimbursing any costs 7 Brew incurs during the relocation process, and the franchisee confirming that the franchise agreement remains in effect for the new site with no change in the term.
Additional stipulations include the franchisee signing a general release of claims against 7 Brew, continuing to operate the store at its original site until 7 Brew authorizes closure, and taking action to de-brand the former premises so it is no longer associated with the 7 Brew franchise system.
