What does 'you' refer to in the 7 Brew Franchise Disclosure Document?
7_Brew Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
The franchisor is Brew Culture Franchise, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). "You" means the entity to which we grant franchises and development rights. Your owners must sign our "Guaranty and Assumption of Obligations" or "Owner's Undertaking of Non-Monetary Obligations" (depending on the ownership percentage). This means all or some of our Franchise Agreement's provisions (Exhibit A) also will apply to your owners.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 7 Brew Franchise Disclosure Document, the term "you" refers to the entity to which Brew Culture Franchise, LLC grants franchises and development rights. This means that whenever "you" is used in the document, it is specifically addressing the prospective franchisee who is being granted the rights to develop and operate 7 Brew stores.
Furthermore, the FDD clarifies that the owners of the franchisee entity may also be subject to certain provisions of the Franchise Agreement through a "Guaranty and Assumption of Obligations" or "Owner's Undertaking of Non-Monetary Obligations." This implies that while the franchise is granted to the entity, the individual owners also have responsibilities and obligations under the agreement.
This distinction is important for prospective franchisees to understand, as it clarifies who is bound by the terms of the franchise agreement. It's not just the business entity, but also potentially the individual owners, ensuring accountability and commitment to the 7 Brew franchise system.
