Who owns the intellectual property rights to the 7 Brew System Website?

We or our designees have the right to establish a website or series of websites (with or without restricted access) for the 7 BREW Store network: (1) to advertise, market, identify, and promote 7 BREW Stores, the products and services they offer, and/or the 7 BREW Store franchise opportunity; (2) to help us operate the 7 BREW Store network; and/or (3) for any other purposes we deem appropriate for 7 BREW Stores or otherwise (collectively, the "System Website"). The System Website need not provide you with a separate interior webpage or "micro-site" referencing your Store. We will own all intellectual property and other rights in the System Website and all information it contains. We will control and may use the Brand Fund's assets to develop, maintain, operate, update, and market the System Website.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to 7 Brew's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, 7 Brew or its designees have the right to establish a website or series of websites for the 7 Brew store network, known as the "System Website." This website serves multiple purposes, including advertising and promoting 7 Brew stores, their products, and the franchise opportunity itself. It also aids in the operation of the 7 Brew store network and any other purposes 7 Brew deems appropriate.
7 Brew retains ownership of all intellectual property and other rights associated with the System Website and all the information contained within it. 7 Brew also controls and may utilize the Brand Fund's assets to develop, maintain, operate, update, and market the System Website.
As a 7 Brew franchisee, you must ensure that all marketing materials you develop for your store comply with brand standards and include the System Website's URL as specified by 7 Brew. You are prohibited from creating or maintaining any digital marketing or social media content that mentions or describes your store or displays any of 7 Brew's marks without prior written approval and adherence to brand standards. Except for the System Website and approved digital marketing and social media, franchisees cannot conduct commerce or offer products or services through any digital marketing, social media, or website. 7 Brew reserves the right to maintain websites other than the System Website and to sell products and services under the marks via the Internet without any obligation to the franchisee.
