What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to 7 Brew's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, 7 Brew is not obligated to provide any specific ongoing training, conventions, advice, or assistance to franchisees. However, 7 Brew states that during the store's operation, they will advise franchisees or make recommendations regarding the store's operation with respect to standards, specifications, operating procedures, and methods that 7 Brew stores use. This also includes purchasing required or recommended operating assets and other products, services, supplies, and materials; supervisory-employee training methods and procedures; accounting, advertising, and marketing; and pricing. 7 Brew may guide franchisees through their Operations Manual, by electronic media, by telephone, and/or at their office or the store.
7 Brew may give franchisees, at their request and expense (and their option), additional or special guidance, assistance, and training. Franchisees may also be required to have their store managers attend and complete various training courses and programs that 7 Brew or third parties periodically offer during the franchise term at designated times and locations. However, attendance at these training courses and programs, including any annual meeting of 7 Brew store franchisees, will not be required for more than 3 consecutive days, or for more than 5 days total, during each calendar year. Franchisees are responsible for paying their compensation and expenses during training. If franchisees request training courses or programs to be provided locally, they must pay 7 Brew's then-current training fee and their training personnel's travel and living expenses, subject to the availability of 7 Brew's training personnel. The fee for supplemental and ongoing training ranges up to $1,500 per trainer per day plus certain expenses.
While 7 Brew is not obligated to provide ongoing support, they do offer assistance in various forms, such as advising on store operations and providing additional training at the franchisee's request and expense. This arrangement is typical in franchising, where the franchisor provides initial training and support, but ongoing support may be conditional or at an additional cost. Franchisees should factor in these potential costs when budgeting for their 7 Brew franchise.
