What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to 7 Brew's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must adhere to specific guidelines when developing marketing materials for their stores. All marketing materials must comply with 7 Brew's Brand Standards and include the URL for the System Website as specified by the franchisor. Franchisees are prohibited from developing, maintaining, or authorizing any digital marketing or social media content that mentions or describes the store or displays any of 7 Brew's marks without prior written approval and compliance with Brand Standards.

Furthermore, franchisees must submit samples or proofs of all marketing materials that 7 Brew did not prepare or has not already approved, or that they want to change in any way, to 7 Brew for approval before use. Franchisees cannot use any marketing materials that 7 Brew has not approved or has disapproved. 7 Brew retains the right to demand that franchisees cease using any previously approved marketing materials, providing 30 days' prior written notice.

These regulations ensure that all marketing efforts align with 7 Brew's brand identity and standards, maintaining consistency across all franchise locations. This level of control is typical in franchising, allowing the franchisor to protect its brand image and reputation. Franchisees should be aware of these requirements and plan to work closely with 7 Brew to ensure their marketing materials meet all necessary criteria.

Compliance with these marketing guidelines is crucial for franchisees to avoid potential penalties or disputes with 7 Brew. By adhering to the Brand Standards and obtaining necessary approvals, franchisees can effectively promote their stores while upholding the integrity of the 7 Brew brand.
