If there is a data security incident at the Store, you must notify us immediately, specify the extent to which Consumer Data was compromised or disclosed, and comply and cooperate with our instructions for addressing the data security incident in order to protect Consumer Data and the 7 BREW Store brand (including giving us or our designee access to your Computer System, whether remotely or at the Store).

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to 7 Brew's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a data security incident occurs at a 7 Brew store, the franchisee must immediately notify 7 Brew. The franchisee must specify the extent to which consumer data was compromised or disclosed during the incident.
Furthermore, the 7 Brew franchisee is required to comply with and cooperate with 7 Brew's instructions for addressing the data security incident. This cooperation is intended to protect both consumer data and the 7 Brew brand's reputation.
As part of this cooperation, the franchisee must give 7 Brew or its designee access to the store's computer system. This access can be either remote or on-site at the store, allowing 7 Brew to investigate and address the incident directly. This level of access and required cooperation is fairly standard in franchising, as franchisors need to protect their brand and customer data across all locations.
