What is the estimated cost range for the 7 Brew Computer System?

According to 7 Brew's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the estimated cost for the Computer System ranges from $15,000 to $25,000. This system includes point-of-sale equipment and iOS accessories such as iPads, cases, charging stations, portable charges, and credit-card processors. Franchisees are required to obtain and use the specified computer hardware and software, point-of-sale system, and related equipment to access the System Website and input/access sales and operational information. The Computer System must allow for 24/7 electronic communication between the franchisee and 7 Brew.

7 Brew and its designees have continuous, unlimited access to all operational information on the Computer System, excluding employee-related data. While there are no contractual limitations on this access, 7 Brew states they will not unreasonably interfere with the store's operation. Franchisees are responsible for acquiring, operating, maintaining, and upgrading the Computer System, as well as ensuring it complies with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards and all relevant laws, including privacy laws.

It is important to note that neither 7 Brew nor its affiliates are obligated to provide ongoing maintenance, repairs, upgrades, or updates for the Computer System. However, the franchisee must purchase the first year of software and hardware support when initially buying the point-of-sale system. After the first year, franchisees must renew hardware and software maintenance and support annually, with estimated costs ranging from $6,000 to $10,000 per year. Franchisees must also upgrade the Computer System as required by technological developments or at 7 Brew's request, without any guarantee of reimbursement for these costs.
