What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to 7 Brew's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Computer System that franchisees are required to obtain and use must permit 24-hours-per-day, 7-days-per-week electronic communications between the franchisee and 7 Brew. This ensures constant connectivity for operational and informational exchange.
This requirement means that franchisees must have a reliable internet connection and a system capable of maintaining continuous communication. The franchisor and its designees have continuous, unlimited, independent access to all operational information on the Computer System, excluding employee or employment-related information. This access allows 7 Brew to monitor sales, operations, and other key data in real-time, aiding in support and oversight.
The cost of the Computer System is estimated to range from $15,000 to $25,000. Franchisees should factor this ongoing communication requirement and potential costs of maintaining such a system into their operational budget. Unlike some franchises, 7 Brew does not commit to providing ongoing maintenance, repairs, upgrades, or updates for the Computer System, making it the franchisee's responsibility to ensure the system remains functional and compliant with 7 Brew's standards.
