You acknowledge and agree that exchanging information with us by e-mail is efficient and desirable for day-to-day communications and that we and you may utilize e-mail for such communications. You authorize e-mail transmission to you during the Term by us and our employees, vendors, and affiliates ("Official Senders"). You further agree that: (a) Official Senders are authorized to send e-mails to your Managing Owner and other supervisory employees whom you occasionally authorize to communicate with us; (b) you will cause your officers, directors, and supervisory employees to consent to Official Senders' transmission of e-mails to them; (c) you will require such persons not to opt out of or otherwise ask to no longer receive emails from Official Senders while such persons work for or are associated with you; and (d) you will not opt out of or otherwise ask to no longer receive e-mails from Official Senders during the Term. The consent given in this Section 24 will not apply to the provision of formal notices by either party under this Agreement under Section 23 using e-mail unless the parties otherwise agree in a written document manually signed by both parties.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to 7 Brew's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, "Official Senders" authorized to send emails to franchisees include 7 Brew itself, its employees, vendors, and affiliates. This authorization extends throughout the term of the franchise agreement.

7 Brew requires franchisees to ensure their managing owner and supervisory employees consent to receive emails from these Official Senders. Furthermore, franchisees must ensure that these individuals do not opt out of receiving these emails while employed or associated with the franchise. The franchisee themselves also agree not to opt out of receiving emails from Official Senders during the term of the agreement.

This consent does not extend to formal notices provided under Section 23 of the agreement unless both parties agree otherwise in writing. This ensures that important legal and contractual notifications are handled separately, maintaining a formal communication channel alongside day-to-day email exchanges.
