What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to 7 Brew's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisor has the right to modify the days that constitute a calendar week for royalty calculation purposes. Currently, each calendar week begins on Monday and ends on Sunday. However, 7 Brew can change the first and last days of each calendar week.

This change would affect how a franchisee calculates and reports their Gross Sales, which in turn determines the royalty fees owed to 7 Brew. The royalty is a percentage of the store's Gross Sales during the preceding calendar week. The percentage ranges from 4.5% to 7% depending on the amount of sales.

While 7 Brew has the right to make this change, they must provide notice to the franchisee before implementing it. This allows the franchisee to adjust their accounting and reporting procedures accordingly. Prospective franchisees should be aware of this clause, as changes to the calendar week could impact their financial planning and reporting obligations.
