What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 FDD, 7 Brew acknowledges the importance of franchisees operating their stores in full compliance with the franchise agreement and brand standards. Franchisees recognize that any deviation from these contractual requirements, including brand standards, can lead to significant administrative and management costs for 7 Brew to address. These violations can also cause damage to the franchise system, business opportunities, and the goodwill associated with the 7 Brew marks.

7 Brew's Brand Fund is designed to maximize recognition of the marks, increase patronage of 7 Brew stores, and enhance, promote, and protect the 7 Brew brand and franchise system. The fund is used for advertising, marketing, research and development, public relations, social media management, lead generation, customer relationship management, and technology programs, materials, and activities. While 7 Brew aims to benefit all stores, there's no guarantee that expenditures in any area will be proportionate to contributions from stores in that area.

Upon termination or expiration of the franchise agreement, franchisees must de-identify their stores to ensure no further association with the 7 Brew brand. This includes refraining from using any mark or imitation thereof, and removing all signs and marketing materials containing any mark. This de-identification process protects the goodwill and brand recognition that 7 Brew has established. The standards, platforms, and procedures for communications among franchisees, 7 Brew, and customers are designed to preserve or enhance the efficient operation, image, or goodwill of the marks and 7 Brew stores.
