Answer from 2025 FDD Document

You may not use any Mark (in whole or in part) in, or as part of, your legal business name or email address (unless we have provided you that email address) or use any name that is the same as or similar to, or an acronym or abbreviation of, the 7 BREW name (although you may register the "assumed name" or "doing business as" name "7 BREW" in the jurisdictions where you are formed and qualify to do business).

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to 7 Brew's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, as a franchisee, you are restricted from using the 7 Brew mark in your email address unless 7 Brew has provided you with that specific email address. This restriction is part of the broader agreement concerning your form and structure as a business entity.

This condition ensures that 7 Brew maintains control over its brand identity and prevents unauthorized use of its trademarks in a way that could potentially confuse customers or dilute the brand. By limiting the use of the 7 Brew mark in email addresses, 7 Brew can ensure consistent and professional communication across all franchise locations.

This requirement is fairly standard in franchising, as franchisors typically want to protect their brand and ensure uniformity across all franchise locations. Prospective franchisees should be aware of these restrictions and adhere to them to avoid violating the franchise agreement. If a franchisee wishes to use a 7 Brew-related email address, they must obtain it directly from the franchisor.
