According to 7 Brew, what does their recommendation or acceptance of a site indicate?
7_Brew Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
Our recommendation or acceptance of a site indicates only that we believe the site is not inconsistent with sites that we regard as favorable or that otherwise have been successful sites in the past for 7 BREW Stores. Applying criteria appearing effective with other sites might not accurately reflect the potential of all sites, and demographic or other factors included in or excluded from our criteria could change, altering a site's potential. The uncertainty and instability of these criteria are beyond our control, and we are not responsible if a site fails to meet your expectations.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to 7 Brew's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the company's recommendation or acceptance of a site for a store indicates only that 7 Brew believes the site is not inconsistent with sites that they regard as favorable or that have been successful for 7 Brew stores in the past. However, 7 Brew makes no representations or warranties about a site's suitability. The criteria that 7 Brew uses to evaluate sites may change, and demographic or other factors included in or excluded from their criteria could change, altering a site's potential.
7 Brew emphasizes that applying criteria that appeared effective with other sites might not accurately reflect the potential of all sites. The uncertainty and instability of these criteria are beyond 7 Brew's control, and they are not responsible if a site fails to meet a franchisee's expectations. This means that while 7 Brew provides guidance and approval, the ultimate responsibility for the site's success rests with the franchisee.
This is a fairly standard practice in the franchise industry, where franchisors typically offer site selection assistance but do not guarantee success. Prospective 7 Brew franchisees should conduct their own due diligence and market research to assess the suitability of a site, rather than relying solely on 7 Brew's approval. Understanding local market conditions, competition, and customer demographics is crucial for making an informed decision about site selection.
