What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 FDD, 360 Painting franchisees must use their vehicles primarily for business purposes and avoid activities that conflict with or are detrimental to those purposes. Franchisees are responsible for maintaining their vehicles in good order and repair and making them available for inspection by 360 Painting within their protected territory.
The FDD also states that franchisees must prominently display the "360 Painting" name on their vehicles using signs, decals, or paint patterns that meet 360 Painting's standards. The franchisee cannot display any signs or advertising that 360 Painting reasonably objects to.
While the FDD doesn't explicitly prohibit the use of personal vehicles, it emphasizes that vehicles used in the business must adhere to specific branding and maintenance standards. A prospective franchisee should clarify with 360 Painting what specific vehicle types are acceptable and what modifications are necessary to meet brand standards. The franchisee should also inquire about any potential restrictions on personal use of vehicles that are also used for the 360 Painting business.
