What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to 360 Painting's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, 360 Painting has not specifically researched the laws in any franchisee's state and locality to determine their applicability to the franchised business. As a painting and wall finishing services contractor, franchisees may be required to obtain a contractor's license in certain states and should investigate whether this requirement applies to their business.

Federal, state, and local laws, rules, regulations, and ordinances may apply to the operation of a 360 Painting business. These include those that establish general standards, specifications, and requirements for real property improvements; set standards pertaining to employee health and safety; and protect the environment by regulating disposal of wastewater, airborne concentrations of lead, lead paint removal, and disposal of hazardous chemicals and waste. Franchisees should investigate whether there are regulations and requirements that may apply in the geographic area in which they are interested in locating a 360 Painting business, and they should consider both their effect and the cost of compliance.

Laws and regulations vary widely from place to place, and 360 Painting recommends consulting an advisor to determine all applicable laws and regulations. Franchisees must obtain all contractor permits and licenses and operational licenses. 360 Painting is not required to provide any guidance in compliance with these laws and regulations, and any guidance that is provided is not guaranteed. Franchisees should consult with their attorney concerning these and other laws, regulations, and ordinances that may affect the operation of the business. Franchisees are solely responsible for investigating and complying with all of these applicable laws, regulations, and other requirements, despite any advice or information that 360 Painting may give.
