What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 360 Painting Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is responsible for implementing a training program approved by the franchisor for their employees. The franchisee is also responsible for ensuring their employees are properly trained.
Specifically, 360 Painting franchisees must not employ anyone who either fails to complete the franchisee's training program or is unqualified to perform their duties according to the standards established for operating a 360 Painting business. This indicates that while 360 Painting provides a framework and approval for training programs, the franchisee is ultimately in charge of the day-to-day implementation and enforcement of personnel policies and training standards within their franchise.
This arrangement is typical in franchising, where the franchisor sets brand standards and provides training guidelines, but the franchisee manages the actual workforce and ensures compliance with those standards. This allows for local adaptation while maintaining brand consistency. A prospective franchisee should carefully review the training program requirements and understand the level of ongoing oversight and support provided by 360 Painting to ensure they can effectively manage their employees and maintain brand standards.
