What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 FDD, prospective 360 Painting franchisees are encouraged to carefully read the disclosure document and all agreements. If 360 Painting offers a franchise, it must provide the disclosure document 14 days before the franchisee signs a binding agreement or makes a payment.
For franchisees in New York, the disclosure document must be provided at the earlier of the first personal meeting or 10 business days before signing any agreement or making any payment. In Iowa, the disclosure document must be provided at the earlier of the first personal meeting or 14 days before signing any agreement or making any payment. Michigan requires that the disclosure document be provided at least 10 business days before the execution of any binding franchise or other agreement or the payment of any consideration, whichever occurs first.
Furthermore, the FDD states that a violation of federal and state law may have occurred if 360 Painting does not deliver the disclosure document on time, or if it contains a false or misleading statement, or a material omission. In such cases, the franchisee should report this to the Federal Trade Commission in Washington D.C. and the state administrator listed in Exhibit A of the FDD. The 360 Painting FDD also indicates that information comparing franchisors is available by calling the state administrators listed in Exhibit A or by contacting your public library for resources or information. Registration of this franchise by New York State does not mean that New York State recommends it or has verified the information in this franchise disclosure document. If anything in this Franchise Disclosure Document is untrue, contact the Federal Trade Commission and the appropriate state or provincial authority. The franchisor may, if it chooses, negotiate with you about items covered in the Franchise Disclosure Document; however, the franchisor cannot use the negotiating process to prevail upon a prospective franchisee to accept terms that are less favorable than those set forth in this Franchise Disclosure Document.
