What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to 360 Painting's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Marketing Fund Contribution is due every Tuesday, on a weekly basis. The amount due is the greater of 2% of the franchisee's Gross Sales per week or $50 per week. Gross Sales are defined as the total of all monies and receipts you derive in connection with the Business, but does not include promotional allowances or rebates, sales taxes collected from customers, or the value of approved coupons or customer refunds.
This means that each week, a 360 Painting franchisee must calculate 2% of their Gross Sales for that week and compare it to $50. They will then pay whichever amount is higher. This contribution is used to support marketing efforts for the 360 Painting brand. The franchisor reserves the right to modify the amount, manner of payment and/or timing for payment for all fees payable to them or their affiliates, but they will not modify the amount of the Royalty Fee or the Market Fund contribution you pay to them during the initial term of your Franchise Agreement.
It is important for prospective franchisees to understand how Gross Sales are calculated, as this directly impacts the amount of the Marketing Fund Contribution. Franchisees should also be aware that while the Marketing Fund Contribution is fixed during the initial term of the agreement, other fees may be subject to change. Reviewing the Brand Standards Manual will provide further details on the current amounts, manner of payment, and timing for payment of all fees and costs.
