What is the 360 Painting franchisee's responsibility regarding maintaining the parking areas of the business?

- 9.3 Maintenance & Appearance. Maintain at all times, at its expense, the Business and the Vehicles, machinery, equipment and tools, and if Franchisee leases or owns any real property in connection with the Business, any fixtures, furnishings, furniture, décor, premises, parking areas, landscape areas, and interior and exterior signs, in an excellent, clean, attractive and safe condition in conformity with the Brand Standards Manual and Franchisor's high standards and public image.
Franchisee shall promptly make all repairs and replacements thereto as may be required to keep the Business and the Vehicles in the highest degree of safety, repair and condition and to maintain maximum efficiency and productivity, and to remain in compliance with Franchisor's standards.
If Franchisor changes its image or standards of operation with respect to the Business or the Vehicles, Franchisee expressly agrees to comply, at its expense, with each change within such reasonable time as Franchisor may require, or if no time is specified, within 30 days after receiving notification of the change.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 FDD, 360 Painting franchisees are responsible for maintaining the parking areas of their business, if they own or lease real property in connection with the business. This includes keeping the parking areas in excellent, clean, attractive, and safe condition, in accordance with the Brand Standards Manual and 360 Painting's high standards and public image.
This requirement extends to other aspects of the business's physical appearance, including fixtures, furnishings, furniture, décor, premises, landscape areas, and interior and exterior signs. Franchisees must promptly make all necessary repairs and replacements to maintain safety, repair, and condition, as well as maximum efficiency and productivity.
Franchisees are also obligated to comply with any changes 360 Painting makes to its image or standards of operation. Franchisees must adhere to these changes at their own expense, within a reasonable timeframe specified by 360 Painting, or within 30 days if no specific time is given after receiving notification of the change.
