Is 360 Painting currently the only supplier for contact center services for franchisees?

360_Painting Franchise · 2025 FDD

Answer from 2025 FDD Document

We are currently the only approved supplier for contact center services, technology services and accounting and business advisory services described above, except that after you have been open and operating for 12 months you may opt out of our accounting and business advisory services in favor of an approved thirdparty vendor (but in all cases, must continue with us or an approved accounting and business advisory services provider for the full duration of your Franchise Agreement). You must obtain the required bookkeeping software and digital marketing from and pay directly third-party sources we designate. You must obtain and use business management software job estimating and proposal software, and initial digital marketing set-up from third-party vendors and suppliers we specify and arrange for on your behalf and for which you must pay us.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to 360 Painting's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, 360 Painting is currently the only approved supplier for contact center services. The FDD also states that franchisees must purchase contact center services from vendors or suppliers that 360 Painting designates. This requirement is part of 360 Painting's System, which mandates the use of certain products and services from specific vendors.

This means that new 360 Painting franchisees do not have a choice in selecting a contact center service provider and must use 360 Painting for these services. This restriction is in place to ensure consistency and quality control across the 360 Painting franchise system. However, franchisees should be aware that this arrangement may impact their operational costs and flexibility.

In addition to contact center services, 360 Painting also requires franchisees to purchase or license other products and services from designated vendors, including technology services, accounting and business advisory services, business management software, bookkeeping software, digital marketing, job estimating and proposal software, and online reputation management. While franchisees must use 360 Painting or an approved provider for accounting and business advisory services, they can opt out of 360 Painting's accounting services after 12 months of operation in favor of an approved third-party vendor. However, they must continue with either 360 Painting or an approved provider for the duration of the Franchise Agreement.

Prospective franchisees should inquire about the costs associated with these required services and the criteria for approved third-party vendors, especially for accounting and business advisory services. Understanding these requirements and associated costs is crucial for assessing the financial viability of a 360 Painting franchise.
