Does 360 Painting have a contractual obligation to provide maintenance, repairs, updates, or upgrades to the computer system used in the franchise?

re, your costs will be approximately $1,200 to $1,500. We have no contractual obligation for the maintenance, repairs, updates or upgrades to your computer system. You are not required to incur any annual costs for optional or required maintenance, updating, upgrading or support contracts for the computer systems.
Contact Center
You must use our contact center services, described in Item 8. Through the business management software (described below), the contact center answers customer calls, takes basic customer information and schedules appointments for your Business based on the availability you indicate.
Business Management Software
You must use business management software for the management of the Business through our approved vendor (or vendors), which is also described in Item 8. Other than this business management software, there are no additional maintenance costs. As noted in Items 5 and 6, the initial cost of our customized software platforms is $5,000. Currently, the ongoing cost for this software Technology Fee (currently $210/week), which can be modified by us by providing notice to you.
Accounting and Business Advisory Services
You must use our in-house Accounting and Business Advisory Services for your Business and pay our related fees for at least the first 12 calendar months following the opening of the Business. See Item 6. The service offering includes prelaunch accounting setup and ongoing monthly accounting and business advisory support. Pre-opening Accounting and Business Advisory Services includes assistance creating the chart of accounts and recording prelaunch expenses in the Quickbooks Online account you set up. Ongoing Accounting and Business Advisory Services include recording of revenue and expense transactions into the Quickbooks Online account, monthly bank account reconciliations, financial statement preparation and participation in periodic coaching sessions. After your Business has been open for at least 12 months, you may opt out of our Accounting and Business Advisory Services so long as you contract with an approved third-party vendor to provide similar accounting and business advisory services to the Business during the remainder of the initial term of your Franchise Agreement.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 360 Painting Franchise Disclosure Document, 360 Painting has no contractual obligation for the maintenance, repairs, updates, or upgrades to the franchisee's computer system. However, franchisees are required to purchase and use a laptop PC designated and approved by 360 Painting that converts into a tablet. If 360 Painting modifies its computer hardware or software requirements, franchisees must upgrade their equipment at the actual cost of the upgrade. There are no contractual limits on the frequency or cost of upgrades. Franchisees may use hardware and software that they currently own in the operation of their 360 Painting Business so long as it meets 360 Painting's standards and specifications. If franchisees purchase new hardware and software, their costs will be approximately $1,200 to $1,500.
Each of the required software programs used in the operation of the business are provided on a software-as-a-service basis, so franchisees are not required to spend any additional money annually on upgrades, updates, or maintenance of those systems. 360 Painting does not generally require that franchisees spend any money annually on upgrades, updates, or maintenance to their computer hardware systems. However, franchisees are responsible for ensuring that their hardware performs adequately and maintains compatibility with the required software programs, which may require them to service or upgrade their hardware. The annual cost that franchisees may incur to update, upgrade, or maintain the computer hardware and software may be between $0 and $1,200.
