What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to 360 Painting's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the company began offering franchises in April 2013. 360 Painting grants franchises to qualified individuals and business entities, allowing them to establish and operate home-based, mobile businesses. These businesses provide a full range of painting and wall finishing services for both the exterior and interior of residences and "light commercial" buildings, operating under the 360 Painting name.
Prospective franchisees should note that 360 Painting does not offer and has not previously offered franchises in any other line of business. This focus solely on painting services could be seen as a benefit, allowing the company to concentrate its expertise and resources in one area. However, it also means that franchisees are entirely dependent on the success and demand for painting services.
The 360 Painting FDD also specifies that franchisees are responsible for identifying and soliciting their own customers, as the company is not obligated to provide them. This highlights the importance of marketing and sales skills for potential franchisees. The business is typically operated from a van or truck and a home office, indicating a relatively low initial overhead compared to businesses with physical storefronts.
It's also worth noting that 360 Painting, LLC was formed in Delaware on April 1, 2013, and as of December 31, 2024, there were 122 360 Painting franchisees in the U.S. operating 153 territories. This information provides a sense of the brand's growth and presence in the market, which can be a useful factor for prospective franchisees to consider.
