- assist you with setting up certain mandatory software systems, websites and other technology used in the operation of the business and provide you with an email account. (FA Sections 4.6 and 10.1);
You must use business management software for the management of the Business through our approved vendor (or vendors), which is also described in Item 8. Other than this business management software, there are no additional maintenance costs. As noted in Items 5 and 6, the initial cost of our customized software platforms is $5,000. Currently, the ongoing cost for this software Technology Fee (currently $210/week), which can be modified by us by providing notice to you.
For example, if we adopt and implement a new software program or platform, we may require you to obtain one or more training sessions relating to it. Many of our additional training courses are available for our franchisees to complete through our online learning management system. Required additional training, if any, may be conducted through this learning management system or live. Live training may be conducted online, at our headquarters in Charlottesville, VA or at your location, as we deem appropriate. Any additional required training must be completed by you and/or your general manager (if the person managing the day-to-day operations of the
Business is not you) to our satisfaction. You must bear any costs you incur (including any travel and living expenses) in connection with any additional training and we may require that you pay us a fee (as described in Item 6). The instructional materialsfor any additional training programs may include the Brand Standards Manual or third-party technical manuals.

360 Painting requires franchisees to use business management software through an approved vendor. The initial cost of the customized software platforms is $5,000. Franchisees will also incur an ongoing Technology Fee for this software, which is currently $210 per week. This fee can be modified by 360 Painting with notice to the franchisee.
In addition to initial setup assistance, 360 Painting may periodically require franchisees to attend further training programs to address new developments, advanced lessons, or changes to the system, such as adopting a new software program or platform. Franchisees are responsible for any costs incurred for additional training, including travel and living expenses, and may also be required to pay a fee to 360 Painting.
