What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to 1 800 Packouts's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, on-site assistance is provided if a franchisee requests it and 1 800 Packouts is able to schedule it at a mutually agreeable time. However, this assistance comes at a cost to the franchisee.

Specifically, the franchisee is responsible for paying 1 800 Packouts' reasonable fees for the on-site assistance provided. In addition to these fees, the franchisee must also cover the reasonable travel, lodging, and per diem expenses incurred by 1 800 Packouts' personnel while they are providing the assistance.

This arrangement is fairly typical in franchising, where franchisors often provide support beyond the initial training period but charge franchisees for the additional help to cover their costs. Prospective 1 800 Packouts franchisees should factor these potential expenses into their budget and carefully consider when on-site assistance is truly necessary to avoid unexpected costs.
