What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 1 800 Packouts Franchise Disclosure Document, the facility must have high-speed internet access for the franchisee and any staff members. This is a pre-opening obligation that 1 800 Packouts requires before the franchisee can open their business.
1 800 Packouts must review and approve the terms of the lease or purchase contract for the premises of the franchised business. The proposed location will be approved based upon factors including adequate parking for any vehicle, including any truck or trailer used and adequate space for the storage of contents which operations require to store for customers.
If the terms of the lease or purchase contract are not approved and another site with satisfactory lease or purchase terms cannot be located in time to open the franchised business within 180 days after the effective date of the Franchise Agreement, 1 800 Packouts may terminate the Franchise Agreement, in which case the Initial Franchise Fee will be forfeited.
