1_800_Packouts Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
You must offer all services and products we prescribe for a Franchised Business and must not offer or sell any services or products other than services and products that we have approved in writing. We may change these specifications periodically, and we may designate specific products or services as optional or mandatory. You must offer all products or services that we designate as mandatory. You may sell products only in the varieties, forms, and packages that we have approved. You must maintain a sufficient supply of required products to meet the inventory standards we prescribe in the Manuals (or to meet reasonably anticipated customer demand, if we have not prescribed specific standards).

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 1 800 Packouts Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must maintain a sufficient supply of required products. These products are needed to meet the inventory standards prescribed in the manuals. If specific standards have not been prescribed, franchisees must maintain enough product to meet reasonably anticipated customer demand.
1 800 Packouts has the right to require franchisees to purchase or lease furniture, fixtures, signs, equipment, products, supplies, software, and other services that meet the specifications established by 1 800 Packouts. These items must be a specific brand, kind, or model and be purchased or leased only from 1 800 Packouts, its affiliates, or expressly approved suppliers. In some cases, these items must be purchased or leased from a single designated source, which may include 1 800 Packouts, its affiliates, or a buying cooperative organized by them.
1 800 Packouts requires franchisees to offer all prescribed services and products and prohibits the offering or selling of any services or products not approved in writing. 1 800 Packouts may periodically change these specifications and designate specific products or services as optional or mandatory. Franchisees must offer all products or services designated as mandatory and sell products only in approved varieties, forms, and packages. It is estimated that 90% to 100% of the total cost to purchase and lease equipment, inventory, and other items necessary to establish and operate a 1 800 Packouts franchise will be subject to these specifications.
