What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 FDD, 1 800 Packouts identifies its businesses operating under the System by using the mark 1-800-PACKOUTS® and other specified trademarks, service marks, trade names, signs, associated designs, artwork, and logos. These are collectively referred to as the "Marks." 1 800 Packouts may also designate additional trade names, service marks, and trademarks for franchisee use as Marks from time to time.

This means that franchisees are required to use the designated Marks, including the 1-800-PACKOUTS® mark, in their business operations to identify themselves as part of the 1 800 Packouts franchise system. This helps ensure consistent branding and customer recognition across all franchise locations. The use of standardized Marks is a common practice in franchising, as it reinforces brand identity and helps customers easily identify and associate with the brand.

For a prospective franchisee, this requirement means they must incorporate the specified Marks in their business, marketing materials, and customer interactions. Failure to use the correct Marks could be a breach of the franchise agreement and could potentially lead to penalties or termination of the agreement. It is important for franchisees to stay updated on any changes or additions to the designated Marks to maintain compliance with 1 800 Packouts's standards.
