If you are an individual, you must be directly involved in the daily operations of the Franchised Business. If you are an Entity, you must appoint an Operating Principal who must have authority over all business decisions related to your Franchised Business and must have the power to bind you in all dealings with us. If you are an Entity, the Operating Principal must be must be directly involved in the daily operations of the Franchised Business. In addition, it is recommended that you appoint an operations manager that must successfully complete System/Procedure Training (the "Manager") to supervise the operation of the Franchised Business. The initial Manager is identified on Appendix B of this Agreement. You, your Operating Principal, or your Manager must at all times supervise the on-premises operation of the Franchised Business. You agree that you, your Operating Principal, and your Manager will at all times faithfully, honestly and diligently perform all obligations under this Agreement and will continuously exert your and his or her full time and best efforts to promote and enhance the Franchised Business.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to 1 800 Packouts's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if the franchisee is an individual, they must be directly involved in the daily operations of the franchised business. If the franchisee is an entity, they must appoint an Operating Principal who has authority over all business decisions related to the franchised business and the power to bind the entity in all dealings with 1 800 Packouts. The Operating Principal must also be directly involved in the daily operations.
In addition to the above requirements, 1 800 Packouts recommends that franchisees appoint an operations manager who must successfully complete System/Procedure Training. This manager would supervise the operation of the franchised business. The initial manager is identified on Appendix B of the Franchise Agreement.
Whether the franchisee is an individual, or an entity with an Operating Principal, either the franchisee, the Operating Principal, or the Manager must supervise the on-premises operation of the 1 800 Packouts franchise at all times. All parties must faithfully, honestly, and diligently perform their obligations under the Franchise Agreement and continuously exert their full-time and best efforts to promote and enhance the franchised business.
