What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to 1-800-GOT-JUNK?'s 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee rejects a request to provide services to a National Account customer, 1-800-GOT-JUNK? has the right to ensure those services are still provided. A franchisee is considered to have rejected the request if they do not accept it within one business day.

In such cases, 1-800-GOT-JUNK? may provide the services themselves, use an affiliate, hire a subcontractor, or assign the services to another 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchisee. This ensures that National Account customers receive consistent service, regardless of an individual franchisee's willingness or ability to fulfill a particular service request.

This policy is important for prospective franchisees to understand, as it clarifies the scope of their operational control within their territory. While franchisees typically operate within a protected territory, 1-800-GOT-JUNK? retains control over National Accounts to maintain quality and consistency for these larger clients. Franchisees should be aware that they may be required to service National Accounts within their territory under the terms of a national account service agreement and that failure to accept such requests allows 1-800-GOT-JUNK? to assign the work to others.
