- The Guarantor shall at all times during the term of the Franchise Agreement and during any exercised extension or renewal of the term of the Franchise Agreement and until all of the terms, covenants and conditions of all agreements and dealings between the Franchisee and the Franchisor have been fully and completely performed by the Franchisee or otherwise discharged by the Franchisor:

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 1-800-GOT-JUNK? Franchise Disclosure Document, a Guarantor is obligated to ensure that all terms, covenants, and conditions of agreements between the franchisee and 1-800-GOT-JUNK? are fully performed by the franchisee. This obligation extends throughout the entire term of the Franchise Agreement, including any extensions or renewals, until all obligations are met or discharged by 1-800-GOT-JUNK?.
The Guarantor essentially steps in to ensure the franchisee meets their financial and operational responsibilities. This guarantee is put in place to encourage 1-800-GOT-JUNK? to enter into the Franchise Agreement with the Franchisee.
Often, the guarantor is a shareholder, director, officer, member, or partner of the franchisee, who benefits directly from the franchise agreement. By signing the Guarantee, the spouse acknowledges that the obligation binds their separate property, assets, and income, as well as the community property. If the franchisee defaults, 1-800-GOT-JUNK? can collect from the community property owned by the spouse and the franchisee.
