We may allow you to operate or service customers in subterritories for which you are paying the initial fee in installments, as long as payments are timely made. However, we reserve the right to not allow you to operate or service customers in any subterritories until you pay the initial fees for those subterritories in full.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to 1-800-GOT-JUNK?'s 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the ability for a franchisee to operate or service customers in subterritories while paying the initial fee in installments is not guaranteed. 1-800-GOT-JUNK? may allow franchisees to do so as long as payments are made on time.
However, 1-800-GOT-JUNK? retains the right to prevent franchisees from operating or servicing customers in subterritories until the initial fees for those subterritories are paid in full. This decision is at the discretion of 1-800-GOT-JUNK?.
This policy means that a new 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchisee cannot assume they will be able to generate revenue from all of their subterritories immediately upon signing the Franchise Agreement. The franchisee needs to confirm with 1-800-GOT-JUNK? whether they will be allowed to operate in subterritories with outstanding initial fees. This could impact the franchisee's initial business plan and revenue projections.
